Mammy Doll Appliance Cover
This simple folk art mammy doll has a body made of black cloth, an
embroidered mouth and nose and two buttons eyes. She has large gold
hoop earings and a pinned on bandana. This doll is wearing a red
checkered dress and an cream colored apron. The apron and dress look as
though they have been purposedly aged to give the doll an antique look.
The doll has no legs just a flat stand and she fits nicely over a toaster.
This was purchased at an estate sale but the age is unknown.
This doll is in nice clean condition, no tears or rips.
Very nostalgic look of 1940's - 50's when these appliance
covers were popular.
