Vintage Convertible Handbag with Reversible Cover Circa: 1950-60 You will probably never see a purse like this one! It is a vintage 3 purse in one.
Nice attention getter and conversation piece.
The rounded knobs on either side of the top frame hold the one reversible cover on.
One side of reversible cover is designed in silver and gold metallic on white vinyl.
The other side is black patent leather.
Take this reversible cover off by pulling and you have a black peau d' sois bag underneath.
The inside of the purse is lined with a zipper compartment and an open compartment. There are some minor scratches on the frame.
The handle is a transparent lucite and also has some small scratches.
The white vinyl has some yellowing due to age but it is still in nice
clean condition. The black patent leather has some minor scratches.
Over all the purse and all its parts are in very nice, usable condition.
