Synopsis
Spencer McCullough is a member of an extreme activist group,
the Federation for Animal Liberation (FERAL).
When he is accidentally shot and seriously wounded by his
12-year-old daughter, Charlotte, with a rifle that belongs
to Spencer's brother-in-law, John, who is a hunter,
the ensuing anti-hunting lawsuit tears the family apart.
It also provides Chris Bohjalian with the material for
a slashing satire of such groups and their agendas,
and of political correctness in general.

Industry reviews
"The finely drawn scenes and characters here will suck in all
but the hardest-hearted. Pretty much irresistible."
